But given the different environments and range of pressures the product had to withstand, the prototype failed Sealtech's QC specifications. We recommended a stronger, more expensive material so the cell would function according to specifications. The customer knew our motivation - there's no savings if the product fails. Sealtech's Quality Assurance Program designs techniques that prevent problems for our customers. It may be more labor intensive but it's cheaper in the long run.
